that's exactly what happened w/ my avenger...caused my tranny fluid to leak really bad....didnt get as bad as seeing any of my tranny parts on the road tho..just fluid all over every time it would switch gears.

did you spinned your tires on snow or ice in the hour before the bad luck ?

usually when the differential pin start to break loose it is 99% of the time always following a tire spin
once it is loose it will slide slowly outside of the differential and fall inside the case
it takes a few miles from spinning the tires to blowing the transmission

it could happen to both
but it's more common on mtx

yes, there was tire spinning before, we got a foot of snow, i was stuck.. 7-8 times. it's blown, i have the peices here in my hand, when nykon gets down here he'll post pics.
