Well dis morning wasnt the best. I just got my tranny in. Ive mayb put 30 miles on it. But anyway i go out to start my car dis morning and i look under my car and ive lost almost all my tranny fluid. Cant believe it 50 buckes worth of fluids down the drain. Damn Autozone giving me a bad gasket.
At my local Autozone, there are 9 positions in the store. 4 are managerial. The same managers have been there for the past 3 years. there have been 26 people shuffled through those other 5 positions. Autozone doesn't TRAIN their employees. Advance Auto, NAPA, and O'Reillys do.
Stay away from Autozone. They are a plauge to the automotive retail world.
And when you put the fluid back in, make sure it's ATF+4. if they try to tell you otherwise, punch them straight in the face and tell them that's what Dexron/Mercon does to your transmission and you're just passing the favor along.
No i took the gasket in and said it broke and id lyk my money for the gasket and the fluids bk and they said no. So i went to Advance and got a new gasket and the fluids. So hopefully it works dis time. They actaully tried to tell my girlfriend the wrong fluids and she chewed them out it was kinda funny.
omg!! i would have LOVED to seen that. If I was working at that store, i would have NEVER let that employee live it down. "You got told off by a girl who KNEW what the hell she was talking about!!" lol.
autozoo is the walmart of the parts stores; good prices, excremental products, i only buy sealed stuff at autozone, fluids, wiper blades, crap like that, nothing that they can open and show me. for that i go to Napa or Advance(depending on how far im willing to drive, my Napa is pretty far away but its worth it) i don't have an O'Reillys, but i have heard alot of good things.
Ya its always hilarious when she tells someone off. Cause she does kno a little and its nice lol. I prefer to get stuff from advance i no alot of ppl there and they dont screw ya over.
