rust in the wheel wells? u should have sum fender guards which are rubber, so it really depends where u have the rust, i say take the wheels off and fix that rust, drop in a 3.0 and get right back on track Wink

i concur. try to get the rust problem fixed, and sell the car. the v6's sell for higher than the I4's so you shouldn't have any problems coming out even in the end or just a little over/under. just expect to have to replace the clutch on the I4 [around $200 for the kit] when you get it. just in case. lol

191k miles is quite a bit. Just sell it for what you can get out of it and buy something better.

unless im missing the point here, 2.5 swap, out of the question. its a waste of time and money, check the write-ups forum, there's all the info u need for the 3.0, just a few wiring modification and a mixture of parts to get ur swap done properly, or if u ur close, take it to:

http://www.disturbingmotorsports.com

for a very good price they could set u up, I'm talking just around 1000-1500 depending on the engine, and thats with them getting u an engine, my figures could be off a little bit, but i can attest the 2.5 swap would be just as expensive, so why sacrifice enjoyment? do it while u can.
