My component and rear deck speakers are receiving 75 watts rms each via a JL 300/4 and it pushes that regardless what voltage my battery is producing. Now my receiver is an Eclipse CD3200. It pushes 14 watts rms per channel at 14.4 volts. I know I'm not running a constant 14.4 so the rms on the headunit is significantly less. So running my components and rear deck speakers at 75 watts each and having the speakers in the dash running at less than 14 watts each, will I even hear the difference of having the Bose speakers in the dash?
Anyway, I've never had to buy bass blockers and unsure of which to get. Suggestions?
your probably not at 75 watts constantly... they should be heard , try to hook them up and see either of those will work I'd get the first one listed ...
On the regular non Infinity speaker, the little resistor on it is just hooked up to the negative. Do I leave it this way on the Bose speaker or does it still need to be across both terminals.
I'm going to go ahead and use the non-Infinity speakers for the parts rather than buying a pair of aftermarket bass blockers.
