My Name is Bobby and I own a 2002 Chrysler 300M special edition, 1996 Chrysler LHS as my winter car, and I'm a moderator over at dodgeintrepid.net. My younger brother just purchased a 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXi. Its fully loaded, with the exception of a sunroof and ABS (which I found really strange). Its white with the matching white rims and gray leather interior. He got it for a steal at $3500. Its got 93K miles, 2.5V6, and keyless entry. I will take pics as soon as I can get it cleaned up... All the snow we have been getting here in Massachusetts is not fun with a new car
It has a few quirks:
The key will not go into the drivers door every time, and the trunk key lock will not turn (did some searching and its a common problem from what I gathered and some D40 might fix it). Other then that its a pretty good little car for him... He's going from a 2000 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer with AWD and the V8 (10-12 mpg if he was lucky) that has 135K miles to the 2.5 V6 so the bump in fuel economy should be worth it!
Tomorrow it gets registered, transmission fluid changed with new ATF+4 and new filter, and fresh oil. Later I will add an auxiliary trans cooler and order new headlights (they are cloudy)
I hope that it is a reliable car as my two LH's have been!!
For the trunk lock, that starts working when u move a lil white nob at the lock mechanism, however this prevents the lever in the car from working. the door lock.....u may have to get a new cylinder and key set. welcome to the boards!!

I tried that...but I had to climb into the trunk from the back seat to unlock it.. LOL the key goes into the hole but it will not turn
Welcome to the board. If need ever be, I can tell you how to remove your back seat in case the trunk hits the locked position on that white tab [which i gorilla glued into the 'open' position after it happened to me]. Nykon had to tell me so if i'm unavailable, he'll probably speak up.

I was able to fold the seat down and climb in that way... LOL
I put some WD40 in the locks today and in 5 minutes they where all working as they should!
Now I just need to get a new rear view mirror (the current one has a crack and the dimming liquid leaked out... its ugly) and new ATF+4
Gr8witeLxi, I had an extra autodim mirror from when I installed uconnect into my 300M, so that is currently in the Sebring. Thanks for the heads up tho!
Did some work to the car today:
ATF+4 drop pan and new filter Mobil1 and new filter new air filter new front pads and rotors new belts
Soon:
Timing belt, oil pan (current one is really rusty), and rear pads, rotors and Ebrake shoes.
