Hey, sorry about being late with this JBI. I know i said i will have the pic posted up by yesterday, but i ended working yesterday in the morning from 5a.m till 11a.m, and then, my car wouldnt start after i went into the post office and got back into the car. I thought the fuel that was low, or the positive battery cable was a little loose from a week ago. I went to the fuel station and filled a container of fuel, got back into the car, filled the car up, car didnt start. so i went back to the fuel station and gave them the fuel tank bank, and when i was walking back towards the car{a 3 minute walk}, i saw this bitch{female} ass cop wriiting me a ticket :/
and on top of that, after all of this, i was so pissed, that i locked myself out of the car after i got the damn ticket.. etc... long story short, i was able to start the car after i walked back home and get the spare keys to the car and it was the battery cable like i thought it was in the first place. i didnt sleep very good the night before last, so when i was done with everything yesterday, i went to sleep at 6p.m and woke up at 7a.m today.
any way....
Here is the picture:{its 9a.m right now}

as you can see, there is supposed to be that small flat bar that is a part of the bumper, that goes along the line of the back part of the bumper, and it has 5 holes which is where the bubmper screws/bolts go into and screw/bolt into the bumper support bracket. which is also something that I need to get because it has been bent pretty bad.
but thats my last worry because I already  found some one that is selling the bumper support bracket.
I just dont want to buy a different bumper because I began modifying this stock bumper by cutting its crosshairs and putting a grill in it.
any ideas on how i can fix this or attached something to the back of the bumper and drill 5 holes so i will be able to reallign the bumper correctly and have it sit properly?

I will be here today at noon hopefully, i am on my way to the court right now to fight this damn ticket.
wish me luck.

that is what I had thought initially,  Tongue you would have to get it a flat panel of metal, have it welded to the bracket in the picture that is all bent..however, I'm expecting that you will be getting a replacement? if so..the part that is missing in ur picture, is welded on to the bracket itself, so a replacement of the bracket would yield you that part. otherwise, weld.

good luck w/ ur ticket man.....i've had that excrement happen b4, it should be thrown out man, did u tell the cop what was going on?

hey JBI, I think you are not with me. In the picture, what you dont see is the flat piece of metal that has 5 holes, and this flat metal is basically sits on top of the front bumper, and thats where you screw the 5 bolts into. it is sort of a cushion for the top bumer itself so the screws wont scratch/crack the bumper. I do have this flat piece of metal.
The 2nd thing that you dont see in here is the bumper support bracket, which is basically where you screw the 5 bolts from the top into the bumper bracket support{I attached the picture so you can see what I am talking about}.
both of these things are not what I am worried about because I can get them both{i already have the flat piece of metal, and I am getting the bumper bracket support}.
what you do not see in the picture is the piece of the bumepr itself that broke/cracked, and that is what i need. but the thing is that they dont sell this small piece of the bumper itself. what only left to do is make my own piece and some how glue it into the bumper....
let me see if i can  go to the backyard and see if i can find that broken piece so you will be able to see what exactly it is that I am talking about.

be back in a 20 minutes with pics hopefully.

Hey JBI, here are the pics of what I was talking about:

as you can see, this is the urethane part of the back part of the front bumper, it is flat and it has 5 holes for those bolts that go into the actual bumper bracket support{see pic in my last reply above}.
So basically, this is garbage now becuase it is cracked as you can see in these pictures. bascially, what I want to know is if it is possible for me to make something that will be similart to this piece in these pics that I will be able to glue/screw into the back bumper and basically have it hold the bumper again with 5 bolts on the top, and 2 screws on each side of the bumper.
right now, I have 2 zip ties holding my bumper from the top : |

junk yard would be ur best bet...i dont have that on my sebring, but u can go to home depot, they have some thin metal sheets you can cut and shape, if u want it to be polyurethane, u could do some fiberglass molding, but i dont know how much u know about working with that...
