Costum Made Specifically the Avengers/Sebrings - HaloS
« on: December 30, 2007, 10:22:59 PM »

Hi every one. well, I first would like to say that I come here because I am in a need of help these days.
I am in pretty much running with only 130 dollars in the bank right now. I have to pay 200 dollars of rent in the 2 days, insurance which is another 70 dollars, gas, food, cell phone bill, etc.... not sure what i will do but I hope I will come up with something.
mean while, I decided that I should make  this post because this might help me and also give add something unique to the avenger.
so here is the thing, I am making  consutm halos for the avengers and the sebring.
I trully can say that I did so many trials and errors when i first started this project almost 2 years ago, but it didnt turn out well. I did it the honda crx way which im sure some of you know what im talking about, if not, its where you take a window rod, put it in the oven, heat it up so its flexible enough to shape it into a ring shape, and the drill tiny ass holes in each head, and then put leds in there, soldier the wires, etc.... a mess in other words.  I did do this with my avenger headlighs 2 years ago like i said, it took me 4 months to finish, and when i finished, one of the rings stopped working after 3 days, and i was pissed as hell..
any way... i decided to cut the wires to those rings, and just run stock. I was just pissed that i wasted 4 months for nothing.. but i did learn by spending so much time with them.
any way, a year and a half later, i decided to do the whole thing all together because I had to open up my headlights any way, and repaint the bezels because the paint that i used last time was high heat paint, which caused the paint to bubble up from the heat during those times, and not to mention i had 2 rings sitting in each headlight for beauty and no porpuse, which i had to remove.
so that time has come, and i did make a whole new set of angel eyes, but not the same way.
This time i did it the ccfl way. CCFL lights are much lighter and brighter than L.E.D's, not to mention that they are visible during the day as well. They last a long time as well, due to the low power consumption that they use.
I just finished this project 2months ago, and I have no problems with them so far.  I am really happy and just so excited the way they look, especially at night. I am not trying to be all showy offy and what not, but really, i get so many looks from cars,  the drivers, walk by'yers, even those cops that sit in the toll both when you cross to other states. {like in here from new york to new jersey.
I am using the light blue halos. As far as you ask me if i am not affraid about cops, i can simply say no, because 1 - these are not driving lights, nor parking lights.  The correct way to describe these would be Beauty lights sort to speak.
I have been driving in new york with these lights all the time in the past 2 months, and here in new york and new jersey they have lots of cops, especially in brooklyn, new york. I actually see them driving in the opposite way when im working, so i know that they see the lights, but I havent got pulled over once. I actually got pulled over once for running a red light{the light was synched out}, while having these halos on, lol. I just got a ticket for the redlight, but he didnt say anything about the lights.  and to be honest, there are plenty of cars like the new ones that have h.i.d lights in their car, and they look blue,  purple, yellow, etc.. what not, no problem with that.  and also, not to mention, that new buick crossover that just came out, has "blue eyes" in it, literally, thats what they called it.  you can go to buick.com and see that car, i think its called the "enclave" or something. I seen the commercial in their website, and you can clearly see that it has something sort of blue angle eyes in them.
so any way, to make this short. I am making them, and selling them. I can make them and send you the rings, or you can send your headlights, or just the inside bezel to me, il make the rings, mount them inside the bezels, and send the bezels back to you.
here are the prices:
1 - $50 for a set,{I send you the rings, you mount them yourself}
2 - $70 for a set{you send me both of the headlight bezels, I mount the rings inside, secrure them, and send the bezels back to you with the rings mounted in them}
Either way you choose, I will include instruction, and the mouting material that is needed to mount the rings.
It is very easy to do, either way you choose. The only thing that might be be a lil tricky is opening up the headlights by putting them in the oven and baking them, which is not that hard to, and when  i think about it, i dont know which avenger/sebring owner havent opened his headlights to paint his bezels. but hey, if you think you cant do it, you are more than welcome to send me both of your headlights, and il do it for you.
Here are the pictures, enjoy:

yeah, 4 months. thats because i couldnt get the damn l.e.d's to light up at the same brightness. either one was brigther than the other, or the leg terminals kept broking when i tried wiring them up. also i was working and going to school at that time, so i didnt have much time.

they are going to be pre-wired, so all you will have to do is tap the red{positive wire} into a positive wire in the car, and same with the negative wire. my suggestion will be the parking lights.

I might be able  to make WHITE ones too. I just need to know that there are at least 5 people that are certain that they want it, so i will order these kits from out of the country and have them here as soon as possible.
