Maybe, bye bye viper...

but hello sebring! lol

Sebring might be replacing the production of vipers.

Lots of Sebring bashing comments lower in the page also. Undecided I think it's mostly a gen 2 bashfest though.

for the first time in a long long time i want to cry...i am an avid viper fan and one day damn it even if in 60 years old i will own one call it wishfull thinking but i have my plans and i know how to do it. If they ax my beloved snake i just dont know what i will do. sebring doesnt sell and there is no way in hell it will ever compete with the toyota honda and the new malibu(which is sexy imo) even if they overhaul it. ax that lump of lard before you kill the greatest american sports car.(f you vette boys the viper beats it on the track and im a chevy guy and love the vette but the viper more)

But you don't see the Vette going out of production for the Grand Prix.  Cheesy

this isnt the vipers fault. its the lousy leadership at chrysler/dodge not being able to make a good car and now possibly haveing to kill off the one thing they did a good job on.

chrysler will never kill the viper as long as GM will produce a corvette

repeat after me: I knew it was a SOHC engine and I will say for future reference that I made a typo  Grin

nah they just need to make cars who look like cars
and stop making "transportation device" who look like minivans and suvs
caliber frame and drivetrain have tons of potential
it just need a decent look

seriously you all need to realize the new evo is on modified caliber underpinings. so obviously the design has its potential. just sadly is uglier than kittens in a meat grinder.

that would be sad if the viper would go away but at least they gave us a new challanger in srt trim.I do think that they have made some bad choices on line up though yes the caliber is  pretty cool and dodge now has a xover intrance in the market but they sacrificed their sales horse for it. the neon I know it was never a favorite for most pepole but now they have no interance in the compact line so know they lose out on the whole segment of buyers. Now there is talk of killing the viper yeah they dont sell a ton of them but they will be absent in that market to.

just think if they would of restyled the neon and put on the caliber frame with awd evo's and sti owners everywhere would have had something to worry about

Actually kittens in a meat grinder are a beautiful site.........

Emily almost bought a Caliber, but went with the Lancer instead.  A lot of Emily's girlfriend's said the Caliber is a good looking car  Huh

I can't see Dodge getting rid of the Viper.  It's a staple.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

i cant say that i know the viper will go or stay, but i do have my opinion. The viper is nice, i prefer it over the vette, however, the viper does need to have some improvements, i.e. pricewise, if the price was lower, or at least competitive with the vette's, it's shortcomings wouldnt be highlighted so much. i've seldom heard a bad thing about a corvette and i know they're not perfect. the sebring should get redone imo...it can be a bit better..it has good ideas, just doesnt execute them properly.
