Speaker Suggestion

So my parents are being cool and gonna buy a me a sound system for christmas... I dont wanna spend much more than 900 bucks and I already have the amp and subs pointed out, i just dunno what kind of speakers to get... the sub amp combo leaves about 300 for speakers and I need the tweeters, doors, and rears... do you guys have any suggestions?

Alpine R-Types.  Down the road pick up a 4 channel amp for them.

yea but can I get a full set a type r speakers for $300??

Im getting 2 12in alpine type r subs, Im still undecided on the amp... alpine doesnt have any amps that i really like, my local best buy has a nice 1500w sony amp im kinda leaning towards, I dunno if that would be enough wattage or not, im still undecided

Amps MRD-M500 one for each sub, they will pound.

You can get 6.5 R-Types for 120 on eBay for the set, and 6x9s for 94.95

I put in Memphis PR series up front and it was a huge difference in clarity over stock. PR is a mid range line from Memphis so they dont need HUGE power to run but can handle an after market amp, or so I am told.
