my 95 avenger seems to be running rich at idle it smells of gas at idle,  dont have any cats but it still smells pretty rich. what kind of gas milage does everyone get and with what mods? it seems like i get about 300 to a tank and how big are our tanks supposed to be are they 16 gallons? also are the 95 avengers odbI or odbII? or are they odb 1.5 lol like the 95 montes are? i know that my car has an odbII port under the dash along with another one. any ideas?

it's obd1 with a 17 gallon tank. actual spec is 16.9
possibly an oxygen sensor, they are a common problem. pull a plug or two and see what they look like.
