Filling power steering system with fluid
« on: November 07, 2007, 09:35:23 PM »

I removed my power steering pump and all the lines in the engine bay and will be putting it all back in soon. So, how do I fill all of this back up with fluid? Just keep filling the reservoir while the car is running to get all of the air out of the lines?

while you're filling it, have someone gently turn the wheel back and forth until you get it filled. after a couple of days of driving, check it again.

fill. close. start engine , turn lock to lock, pausing for 2 seconds or so. Check and re-fill.
