Hi i have a 99 sebring v6 and sometimes when my car shifts from 1st to 2nd gear it will make a clunking noise. It will also make a clunking noise if im going about 30, slow down to say like 10 and then get back on the gas. What could cause this?
Mounts, it could also be tranny related, since you do have the A604 in there. It could be a loose suspension part, but you'd hear it more often than that.
Get a tranny flush. Even if it doesn't clean up the clunking, you should do it on this car anyway.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
that clunk that you hear is ur tranny shifting. it'll happen if ur braking then go right to the gas. the clutch system doesnt seem to be like that of some other motors. i'd prefer the thrust disk clutch but i dont think thats what we have. that clunk would be eliminated.

Actually my 97 does that... I'm 99% sure it's a mount that is either worn out or broken, just havn't had a chance to crawl under there and take a look yet.
