Quick Intake Question
« on: October 20, 2007, 12:37:42 AM »

I'm planning on removing my intake plenum and doing some cleaning and maybe painting.  When reinstalling the plenum is it necessary to replace any gaskets?

It depends how lucky you are ... I bought a set of gaskets , removed the plenum 6 times and never used them ...I've had others ruin them the first time others the second time ....

Its a gamble, usually safe though.. make sure to get the gasket just incase or your stuck with it off till you get one.
