just wanted to give a little update on it tho. as far as i can tell my problem was my computer. i replaced it and haven't experienced any of the aforementioned issues since. i think the original one was damaged when my car was totaled from someone pulling out in front of me. the bracket it's mounted to has a decent warp in it and the side of the original computer that's against the bracket had a rather large dent in it. not real sure why it took almost 2 years—or more, can't recall of the top of my head—b4 the problems arose, but still. i believe my problems are solved with this. just wanted to let everyone hear know what the culprit was incase they ever run into similar issues… you know, to help with any troubleshooting.
