I'm putting my motor and tranny back in soon and need to know.......
What size bleeder screw is on the slave cylinder so I can change it to a speed bleeder?
Is the modular clutch just a bolt on and drive kinda deal or is there a certain way it needs to be put in?
Is there anything else I should consider replacing while the tranny is out? I already replaced the axle seals, modular clutch, throw out bearing, input shaft bearing/seal, and pivot.
2.1 Quarts of Mopar Manual Transaxle Lubricant NV-T350 #04874465. Correct?
The bleeder screw I can give you the size wrench/socket needed (10MM), but the actual threading size I don't know.
The clutch does need to be bolted to the flywheel/Driveplate (which ever you want to call it) a specific way. You will want to line them up and mark them before you put the flywheel back on the crank. Otherwise you'll be turning the clutch from hole to hole trying to get it lined up right. It's quite a pain.
Other than that, good luck. I hate doing tranny work, because rarely do they go back in on the first try. It's always a treat getting it to slide into the motor properly, the angle has to be PERFECT. Works best if you can convince someone to lay under the car and push the tranny up while you mount it, but if you have to it yourself, get a tranny jack. It's not that heavy to lift and hold for a few minutes, but it does get heavy a short bit later.

Mod List. Um WAY too many to fit on here. But the engine can handle about 800HP
Thanks for your input. I'm actually bolting the tranny to the motor 1st and then dropping them both in from the top. So I will bolt the flexplate on, then bolt the clutch to the plate, then slide the tranny shaft into the clutch, bolt the tranny to the block, and be done. Sounds simple enough. Just wish I could find a bleeder screw size cuz I don't really have anyone to help me bleed it.
I messed with the slave a little bit I guess I could say. The clutch master is completely out of the car due to the engine bay getting a paint job, I'm installing a stainless steel clutch line, and I removed the restrictor plate in the line. I will gravity bleed it as much as I can but will still need properly bled.

Just get a friend I guess.

And if you do have to bleed it and don't change the screw, use a 10mm deepwell socket to bleed it. I've had a good bit of experience with mine. I have to bleed it every few months. I think it has to do with dropping the clutch hard enough to do burnouts. lol But i'll have to add fluid and i bleed it anyway just to make sure.
And the fluid is PERFECT.
And speaking of fluid, the Speed Sensor is located on the driver side of the transmission. When i'm going around a righthand corner, my speedometer tries to work [it usually hops up to 20mph and hovers]. The only thing that pops into my mind is that the fluid is all collecting at that side, you know, fluid inertia. Now i didn't have the money to buy the 3rd bottle because it requires 2.1 not 2.0 quarts when i changed the fluid [it had 75w-90 in it], so i only have 2 quarts in the tranny. Do you think that the last .1 quart would really cause it to not register the speed?
This is how I've filled mine every time with no problems. I pull the drain plug off, pop the fill cap off, start putting fluid through the fill hole, when it starts to pour out the drain hole, put the drain plug back in and put the cap back on. Perfect.
Did it work before you changed your tranny fluid?

The speed sensor is gear driven. It shouldn't have anything to do with the fluid level. Have you pulled your speed sensor to make sure the gear is still connected to it?

Or if you got fluid on the sensors connections (between the harness and the sensor) when you pull the tranny?

Before i bought the car, the speedo worked when i test drove it. the guy had to replace the transmission b/c he blew a hole in the side of it. lol. i just think it's weird that it would work a little when i make a hard to medium right hand turn. If a glass of water were on the dash [without falling], you would see the water angle with the curve in the glass.

Yeah it's messed up. Now fix it!
