Yeah JBI check out the Polk Audio website. They have very very good speakers.. I got a component system for the door and coaxials for the back and that's 400 rms for under $300... They sound great even when peaking... Once I get the subs it'll be 1800 rms Grin Grin Grin

Well here are the ones I got and what the retail was for them and what I paid for them:

http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/speakers/6-3-4/db6750/ Retail: $260 Paid $200

http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/specs/speakers/6x9/db691/ Retail: $180 Paid $150

So I saved about $100.. Speakers are worth it... Shold have went w/ the momo series though Sad

When I really got on the gas, like to get onto a highway, if I had the AC on it would screach. If I had the AC off, It wouldnt. Long story short? AC compressor pulley glazed over. Fine grit sandpaper and a little brake cleaner on a rag and it was fine after that.

Isn't nice how some of the old school tricks are forgotten by most but remember by some? Karma for you Jim.

I'm also guessing that that can be applied to all of the pulleys if you wanted to make sure that the belts didn't slip in, say, high RPM situations where it is utterly crucial for you to have really good acceleration.  Grin

Why thank you. I have tons of old school stuff I would love to share. I'm still a kid but hey, when your boss is has been repairing cars for over 40 years you pick up on a lot of cool things you wont find in any tech school or text book. Now that I know its appreciated, Ill drop some stuff in here and there.
