anyone heard of this or know how well it works? basically a program that loads into your cell phone and you plug it into the car and you can read obd2 diagnostics and codes. also shows realtime info from sensors and a bunch of other stuff. might be kinda neat little tool to have.

www.obdrx.com

*edit* although after looking at the price i'm thinking it might not be worth it. $350 Undecided

never heard of it, looks cool, but i can foresee it being really limited. main thing i'd like to see is if I could see timing on an srt-4, that's really all i need.

it does show timing.

actually, if you have the october copy of turbo magazine theres a decent write up on it in there. i was basically just looking for more personal opinions on it

I read that issue too. It looks like a cool idea. I haven't run across anyone that has it though....

pretty much all obd scanners can show timing, only a select few can read the ngc computers in an srt-4 though completely. that's my main concern

go to http://www.OBDRX.com

and it only reads the OBD generic parameters, none of the advanced parameters such as EGR and injector readings.

and for $350 you would think it would do everything short of wiping your butt.

it only works on select nokia and motorola phones too.

gets a HUGE 2
