So I tried to clear up my foggy headlights tonight but it didn't work to well.
I sanded with 1000grit, then wetsanded 1000grit, then did the same with 1500 grit. I think the part that I messed up is I didn't have any Plastic polish, so I used aluminum polish b/c that's all I had.
Anyways, the headlights are still foggy so any tips? Do you think plastic polish will make a difference?
Like Ivan said.. clear coat does work, I have used clear coat also.. but then all the fracture cracks showed up abit and now my lights aren't tip top clear anymore. It faded abit..

I used 320 grit sandpaper with water, and believe it or not, it takes out all that fog even better, and still dont scratch up the lenses. I went to 400, 600 and then 800, and i was done. looked very nice, esepcially after applying "plastX" to it.
