Pics wont come until graduation there are things i cant take pics of sadly so you'll all have to wait on those. i will write about the experience at meps though from everything i have heard its pretty sucky.

MEPS isn't that bad. It's a lot of sitting around doing nothing. The guys at the MEPS station think they're fighting the war on terror by yelling at you to pee.  Then you hit processing which was supposed to take us a week. Ended up taking a 5 weeks. Then it's on to Basic where you're so damn ready to do training, but not yet, you first two weeks are strictly reading and physical training. At least that how Ft. Benning was. |

well here we go again heres the latest update...Im 1 lb over the limit so no meps hopefully next week, and then its 2-3 months of waiting for basic...BLAH!!!!  I just really want to get going. |

You will get there. Start jogging and conditioning yourself for the physical fitness challenge that awaits you. It will be a blast. BCT has its challenges but nothing to extreme. Even after many years of no contact I still remember all of my friends from Basic.

Ive been doing that everyday i run 3 miles and as far as PT goes Ive got all the tests covered my 1.5mile(this is the AF) is just between 10-11 min and pushups and sit ups are no prob ive got well around 50 of each in a min. Its just the last couple of pounds that have been giving me a hard time.

Congrats on ditching the Army for the AF bro, you're way smarter than most already and good luck with the rest of the hoop jumping at lame ass MEPS, it really goes by fast though. Just remember that you are not their property until you sign that last dotted line and you do not have to sign it either. |

Yepp! I have my jobs picked out too, I am gunning for Air Crew, or aerospace maintenance on anything, Helo maintenance, or aerospace propulsion maintenance(jet, turboprop, and propeller engines). just cant wait!
