So yea I have a busted transaxle.... How could this have happened? What is the purpose of a transaxle? and what would happen if I keep driving around on it?.... until I can get it into the shop of course

Ok transaxle is what drives your front tires its just like a axle of a normal car but in a FWD car the tranny and engine are mounted transversly (sideways) teh transaxle is what connects that to the wheels and makes you go. DONT drive it tow it, its not safe.

what happened to the 3.0 swap?

The guy who was gonna do it moved to like Virginia er something like that and no one is gonna do it for 200 bucks like he was so Im just gonna get a cat-back exhaust and get the swap in the spring

Yea I messed up when I first got my car over a year ago but I have driven safe since then.... I dropped my cay of at 8 30 in the morning saturday.... picked it up at like 3 30 in the afternoon... and it didnt cost me a thing.... Of course I had already replaced the axle once so the I would be rather pissed if I would have had to pay for another one... As much money as I have put in my car its about time something was free Wink Grin
