well i quess that would depend on what amp your running what you 're overall goal you are after and how much of the work do you want to do youre self . the subs that come in the box would do just fine for most pepole and its all together all you have to do is wire the amp. and it has a warranty i don't know if the box is included in the warranty or not. on the other hand the dual voice coil subs can handle much more power and are the better of the 2 options dvc sub are like having 2 subs in 1 , but you'll ethier have to buy or make a box. effectively 1 of the dvc would beas loud as the 2 in the box

Ok cool. I was leaning towards doing two 12's inverted style w/ two polk amps to each one... But that would be more expensive but it would pay off.

I'll post a pic of my subs...a bit cheapo kenwood 10's. but they sound awesome..i really dont need anymore than they offer 2000 watts max, im running a 1000 watt dual channel amp, so 500 each, i dont run it at max of course...but..i really dont need any more than that. those are expensive, but still your choice, no prob. there. i paid a total of 45 for the box, 113 for the subs.  $158 shipped...threw a mosfet amp on there for $58 I have no regrets Smiley
