.98 and still things aren't on par even on things made in Canada. You would think we'd start to see some price corrections by now. Only been here in Canada for a bit now, but I think it's better for both sides when the CDN dollar is down.

and it's not so much that the canadian dollar is doing good, than the US dollar doing badly.
This is bad for most canadians.. hopefully the banks just leave the interest rates alone and let inflation take it's natural course.. oil and gold are goin through the roof..

eh. i just wanted to be safe. I know the US has some messed up people in it and i'd rather people from a country that i thinks pretty cool, but do NOT think i'm insulting them.

LOL. There are loonies and toonies here. ($1 and $2 coins) You'll have to come up sometime and visit. And some/a bunch of Canadians are already insulted by Americans so like with woman you can't win...lol.
i know this is off topic but to add to what dave said about gold and oil, flour is going up to in the us. i dont know the whole story but i belive all these mills are selling to overseas companies cause they pay more. i found out that wonderbread tried to but silos full of flour and was refused
man...canadian dollar higher....that must cause some very weird and confusing transactions...since everything is much more expensive in canada. now would be the time to save since it'll most likely be dropping soon. i.e. get some u.s. dollars and put away for when the value goes back up.
Like a good stock market strategy.. I was thinking about it.. make a quick buck..

i would do it, it most likely will go back to what .78? if it does that, thats a ridiculous amount of interest..talking about 28%...trade in ur canadian cash..invest...and become rich!!...now is the time to take out a loan..u will prolly make about 15-20% but still!!
