Give me some money then. I can't afford that crap. I might have my front end repainted and/or wet sanded to just give it a new look and be satisfied with my current car. I'm just annoyed that it looks sand blasted from all my highway driving.

get the charger...and the money u save....use it to buy the car fter the lease..or another car..w/e is ur choice. two to three yrs of paying that much..on a charger....look at it this way..ur paying 12/mo more....and u get to have a charger instead....save money..and u could buy a car by the end of that period at no interest...

I'm not SAVING any money. Right now, I'm paying nothing b/c I own the car out right. If I lease, i'm still paying no money essentially... but in two years I'll have a payment.

I'm probably going to just keep the Audi.

well for the one year lease you are basically paying 1178/mo (even tho it's only cositing you 12) for the honor of driving a charger.  Think about it that way.

JBI, she did not. She is accurate in her judgement but slightly off in the numbers since it'd be a 2 year lease, not just a 1 year. But she got her point across. Even though I am PAYING 12/mo, I am losing 708/mo. I'd be paying 2000 over two years for the lease and I'd be losing 15000 in equity from getting rid of my car. 17000/24 months = 708/mo.

This is how i see it:

Newer car: Higher insurance. 95% of the time, TOTAL FULL coverage always required.
Not so Newer car: Hey, nice lower rate.
Leased car: Not truly yours. It's like borrowing daddy's caddy for the weekend. When the weekend is up, you are back to walking. If you don't have transportation, wear comfy socks.
Owned car: ALL yours. No one borrows your baby. You look at the money that leasing costs, and see yourself tossing money at an ugly stripper who just won't leave.

Leasing = Being chained to a steering wheel.
Owning = Well, you own it. It's yours. Chain the hot girl to the steering wheel. lol
