Well Matt and I successfully changed the timing belt, did not bend any valves or destroy pistons. There would be a writeup but the job sucks major ass so my writeup consists of pay somebody and save yourself the trouble. We did get the timing off 180 degrees the first time and fixing it was such a joy. My fault though cause I remembered the timing mark diagram backwards. After I double checked we got it right pretty quick.

Hmmm this sounds a lot like my water pump write up........
I did like the phone call, ever couple of hours to keep me informed. The car sounded nice revving at 800!!

I might not let him drive home today though. I am not worried about timing belt things but I drove the car yesterday and the passenger side ball joint is to the point its scary.

I would drive him. I have decided to let him go as long as he doesn't do anything stupid. I can always go pick him up if it breaks down.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
