Headlight Questions
« on: August 31, 2007, 03:24:17 AM »

New to the forum, don't know if anyone has answered this.  I have a 95' venge and I want to be able to put in aftermarket headlights.  Whenever I do some searching around for them I always come up short.  The ones I do find are always for 97' and up.  Is there a reason why the one's designed for 97 venge's and up won't fit because they look very simlar.  I was first going to try and wet sand the headlights but the front end on my car was hit recently and both headlights broke.  Any ideas or thoughts would greatly help.  The only thing I can think of is that the wiring harrness doesn't match up?!?

They bolt up AND plug in just fine ... PROBLEM is the 97+ are a different front shape ... they jut out about 3/4" more towards the center of the car ///
If you need a new front get the 97+ and it bolts right up then matches the headlights

Do you think that if I get a body kit for my car the headlights will fit a little bit better or should I just see if a 97' and up body kit would bolt right up including the side skirts and rear valance?

97+ body kit front and sides will work ... the rear must be 96 since the 97 have plate in the bumper 96 do not ...some places will mix/match

Technically, you need a trunk lid filler plate and a rear bumper. No need to replace the whole trunk lid.
