yeah im kinda in the same boat as u cuz im saving for college and trying to put money into my car but i figure one last big spend cant hurt...anyways i have 225k on my engine right now....not saying it wouldnt run for another 100k cuz it pry would

INFO on that 3.4 its a top mounted drop out motor they are in the grand am/prix monte carlo(i had one) impala, and just about any other GM with V6 FWD the high output is the 3.8 that came with turbo(sometimes) and super charging(more often)....i doubt it will fit...

The motor was designed to drop to the ground incase of a severe headon collision making sure it didnt end up in your lap. They had to have strut bars and bars going from the sturts to the RAD support to give the car the rigidity it needed to support a motor waiting to fall down...as long as you didnt have a bad accident it was actually pretty stiff and made good for corners.

Yeah if anyone ever buys one of those GMs with the two wide side bars that join the fenders to the front grill, NO AUTOMOTIVE STORE will touch your battery to change it unless they carry Intensive Labor type Insurance instead of the standard Insurance that allows the employess to change easy to get to batteries.

yeah believe me stereo work on that was not fun putting the power line to the positive terminal was a little hairy...then i thought why not put a little rubber between the bar and the wrench.
