OK i am taking a class and there was a bunch of motors donated by gm and there is a 3.4L v6 there that looks like it would fit pretty easily....not sure what it came out of but is this a possible swap seeing that this is a dodge/mitsubishi product and thats a gm?

LOL, you are starting to sound like me.

A project like that will require more than just a block.
You will need the following.

Motor (you already have it, good start)
Transmission/drivetrain.
Associated Mounts (ie. motor and Tranny mounts.)
Engine Management System (ie computer/PCM/ECM whatever you want to call it.)
New guages (ours are all electronic controlled by afformentioned ECM)
Most likely you will have to modify the steering components... maybe it depends on how the motor sits in there.
you will need to find out how to modify the power steering if you want to keep it, (are the belts on the same side of the motor)
and much much more.

I say if you are up for the project go for it.  Just trying to point out all that you have to consider.

Like DBJ pointed out, with enough time and money anything is possible.

How is the 3.4 going to effect the suspension and the handling

The original 3.0L swap has more horse power then most 3.4L's out there. Not worth it IMO.

well that puts a damper on my once excited mood today seeing as how they would have just given me the motor.
