95 venge not getting enough go go juice

Hey guys i've got a v6 automatic and i can't seem to get the idle positon correct. when i turn the screw to adjust my idle positon it goes back to where it was, or it will idle too high. Please help, do i have to take it to the dealership?

Also too i'm idleing at a little under 500 rpm. The engine runs good for five to ten mins, then it goes into a lope.
