Same here... NO money will be gained whatsoever... People will lose jobs and the aftermarket would plummet into oblivion...

here in FL i have never met a car enthusiast cop just annoying quota meeting jerks. they dont care who you are if you are going to help them reach quota then they are gonna get you.
FL is bad about, esp all those "speed-trap" small towns towards the GA border.

If you weren't speeding you wouldn't have gotten pulled over........

I always find it funny when people blame cops for doing their jobs.  Yes some cops are assholes and some are overzealous, but seriously take some responsibility.

I don't go to McDonalds "son of a bitch, they made a hamburger, what the hell."

Cops get shot at, jumped, rammed, houses burned down, families threated.  And they still go out and do their job.  I've got a long history of speeding (15 tickets between 16-20).  And I never blamed the cop, I was speeding and they caught me.  If someone is raping your mother, do you think that the cops should leave him alone?  I'm sure he doesn't like the cops wrecking his good time either.  Roll Eyes

still doesnt make me like them any more than i do. the orlando police deartment is full of assholes some of the stupidest and meanest cops i have ever heard of. I understand that they have a hard job but that doesnt mean they should be assholes to the people that really arent doing wrong i wasnt speeding like a maniac i wasnt swerving i wasnt jumping from one lane to the other and there was NO one on this road...(it was a small small street non residential that ran out in BFE here Bithlo if you knw anything about fl that is hick town with homes miles apart.)

before i go on to the main topic...i've mentioned this before.but..not all cops act like they're human..more like brainwashed..i have my own personal reasons..ive had really good cop experiences..and really bad ones....as for the changes to PA...I dont believe it'll get passed if its in the process....too much risk..too much of a loss for the state.....they do have pretty good gas prices tho.

MODIFIED EXHAUST SYSTEM BAN TO BE CONSIDERED IN MASSACHUSETTS

After being stalled by SEMA for the last several years, a bill to ban the sale or installation of "an exhaust system which has been modified in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the exhaust" was reintroduced and has been scheduled for an October hearing in the Massachusetts Legislature.

The measure does not supply law enforcement with a clear standard to enforce, allowing them to make subjective judgments on whether or not a modified exhaust system is in violation.

its gonna be funny when they pull over stock 350Zs for their bark on the downshift. your exhaust is to loud sir get it fixed...but officer its stock. what are they gonna do when they pull over the new Z51 corvettes with the optional butterfly valve in the exhaust that makes more noise as well as free up six horsepower(at a certain RPM) are they going to say thats in violation as too? or how about any of the new mustangs that shelby keeps turning out they all have modified exhaust that is louder? is everything going to have to sound like the base line camry soon or something?

exhaust amplifier? technically..the noise isnt being amplified.(exhaust systems w/ any muffler reduces the noise)..so that rule is far from having legit back up. what's next? all cars will have to have the same exhaust system? good luck makin that one work...this is all crazy
