DSM vehicles have always had "challenges" with vacuum hoses. They split at the point where you swedge them on a fitting. Just look at the throttle body, booster, speed control tubing etc. for a split hose first...

I need to work on the back end and fix a torque converter seal first. I will pull the trans tomorrow figuring on using the labor day weekend to button it back up. I also have to install VC gaskets, spark plug tube seals, new platinum plugs and then get busy installing the Energy suspension hyperflex kit and sway bar bushings...should be an interesting test drive sunday!

For sure. I'd say scrap the platnium plugs though and go copper if you want some more power and performance. Less plug life though...

This is primarily my daughters car that I play with...therefore the wife lets me buy whatever it "needs" . I need it to start every day and never, not get her to school....I will go with platinum for the reliability. I would like a v6 udp though...you know for the better gas mileage

Yeah... I'd love to see the other two pulleys be able to be fab'd. That'd be awesome.

Oh sorry, I think you misunderstood me. I was not contradicting what you said about longevity I was pointing out the benefits of another plug.
Copper=Better performance Iridium=Longer life.
For those of us who don't have to disassemble our motor to change 3 plugs copper is the way to go. I suppose I can see the benefit to using a $7 plug cause it lasts longer for that reason but if you want better performance copper is better.
NGK or Denso are the only way to go as far as plug brands as far as I am concerned.
I am sorry you got pulled over and got a ticket but it doesn't mean that you have to be a pissy little asshat.
That is all.
