I've noticed a little bit of an increase in Vendor created profiles. I understand their function and purpose. I also understand that they have nothing 'technically' helpful. Now the other side of the argument, is that they have a product that we can utilize and [with obvious modification] apply to our platforms. However, these products are about as application specific as Underglow Body Kits.

While I feel the need for our community to be open door for FANS or OWNERS/PREVIOUS OWNERS of our beautiful Avengers, I also can't help but wonder if allowance of these 'users' will eventually be cancerous to our ASOG family. Now, I don't want to chase away any vendors, it's just that I believe they should petition the site Administrators first before posting especially when every post I've seen from them is completely one sided on the help aspect. A certain 'user' has prompted me into this particular thread.

I don't know. Maybe I'm venting. Maybe there's a little truth in this thread. There's just something that rubs me the wrong way when someone claims that their product [part number 0000 for example] is 95-99 Avenger specific, and the same part number fits a Civic, a Scion, a Nissan, or even a Mustang. Especially when they link their sales person's forum into the site.

Open for discussion. I'm not trying to get anyone kicked. I'm just tired of vendors using the forum improperly. Thats why we have a links section [Which is STILL there thankfully]. I like to come here to try and help people with their Venge/Sebring related problems, not to contribute to someones paycheck.

Just my 2 cents. 

i would say its ok for them to be here and post at least one post about thier product and answer questions other than that let the product sell itself and leave the salesman for the car lots and stores, we get enough of them in real life no need for pressure sales here.

i'd have to agree with ET. you don't have to go to that part of the forums. then again Shiano as some valid points as well. guess i'm just being wishy-washy on this topic, huh
