So there are chunks, yes CHUNKS, of metal in my first cylinder. I'm kind of pissed. So the venge is back under construction. But I (actually Emily, my girlfriend) bought a new car. Well different car.
It's a 1990 240SX. It's a beater, it doesn't look like much, but it runs great and the interior is almost perfect, the underbody is pretty much rust free. There's a big dent on the passenger side, it needs some body work but was worth the money.

I sooooooo miss my 95 240sx SE. I was gonna save up for an SR20DET but alas something happened with the engine before I could even really get started. *weep*
Yes it is an auto, but it was between this and an auto Corolla. As for the chunks, that is still under investigation. I don't know if it's safe to join another forum. I'm broke enough as it is, I can't afford to even think about mods......

jschoebs has a 240 as well. His has a turbo engine he put in from Japan. If you have any questions on them I'm sure you can send him a PM and he'll answer them. He had the car stripped down to the shell and then built it back up again himself. He's on some 240 forums as well so I'm sure he can tell you which ones are better than others. James is a good guy. Who knows.. he may even have parts if he hasnt sold them yet.
Yeah last year I picked up a 1995 240sx, and just about 1 year later its on the road. Many hours, I ended up picking a whole S14 SR20 front clip so I had everything needed for conversion.

It's better than walking to work. I don't plan on doing much. But that's the way I was with every car I've ever owned and I end up doing SOMETHING with it. At least I know where to go if I have any questions.

He bought an RX7 that was in similar condition to my car (same color even) Now this is what it looks like
tell ya the truth the 240 is a better car ive seen those things wayyyyyyy done up got a friend with one twin turboed and stupid fast. not to mention it actually handles well.
The 240 is better than??? The RX-7?? they're very similar, and since this RX has the RB power it owns pretty much any 240 out there. Karl (the guy that did this car) actually had a 240SX he was the first guy to fully document the skyline motor swap into the 240SX. He's kind of a big name in the tuner community. He loved that car, but couldn't find another good one so went to an RX for the similar styling.
