Thats a nice idea. If I were you, I'd clean up and modify other parts of my car before I went and did something like that. Thats some serious show car procedures there.

i was gonna do the same thing and actually had it started with 300z bucket seats test fitted in the back. it looks awsome and isnt all that hard, i just decided to eliminate the back seat all together and just do a stereo.

It shouldn't be that hard, just make some brackets for the rear seats, get some MDF and some fibreglass. If you plan it out well and spend your time on it to makes sure you do it right... it would not be hard at all.

i would mount the brackets up on the metal there now(read dont go cutting into it). it will make them a little tall but it would make sure that no gas tank problems came into play with that. if its properly done with the fiberglass it will all flow real nice i think its a good idea spend some time on it and post some pics.
