I like more exotic and rare, I have to say Ducati, the only downside I see is I live in the Northwest so it rains 9 out of 12 months.

The best way to pick out a bike is to go & try them out.  Sit on it & see what i most comfortable.  I am gonna get a bike next year but i'm avoiding the whole "Sport Bike" category & going for a sport touring bike.  Cheaper on insurance & a lot more comfortable.  I'm looking at getting a Yamaha FZ6.  Its got the R6 engine but without the side covers & more upright.  Plus its cheaper too.

mmmm sport bikes i would go with the suzuki though...got a friend with one and its a GREAT bike. But like sobe said try a few out, it all depends on the weight and how comfortable you are throwing it all around. One word of caution though is that the position you sit in can get kinda annoying after a long ride so take that into consideration it can be hard on your back.

I myself am going to go for a cruiser probably a harley but we will see.

Well I think I'll head to the cycle shop and try some bikes out, what I want is something I can ride to work and cruise town maybe 15-20 miles at a time. I've never had a sportbike but grew up on numerous dirt bikes anywhere from a honda 70 to a yamaha yz250 with nitrous    WHAT A RIDE!

go with the suzuki, its just my opinion and i have nothin against anythin but honda, i just like gixers.  and why buy a porsche? i just spent $1000 on a car thats as fast as just about any porsche, new or old, and with another $1500 that i have planned over the winter, ill be able to smoke just about anythin.  yes they look nice, but $60,000 for a pretty slow porsche or $2500 at most for a mid 10 second sleeper, you do the math!! Grin   ahhhh cars, i love em!
