I prefer the first ones they seem to give cleaner sound , the second sound muddy cause of too much blocking with the bridge assembly

I was somewhat thinking the same cuz even though the more speakers you have the more sound, it, like you said, starts to sound muddy... Undecided

I have the second set and they are awesome.. Crystal clear.. Not much bass but if you have a sub they are the most amazing speakers you will ever hear

Cool. I have a set of clarion 2way's in the rear deck now. They were there when i bought the car Grin

not sure what model all i know it it says 130w on the bottom. Sound banging too...
