i havenet been on in a few days that was a typo it shifts to 1500 at 45mph.

unfortunately i know there is a lot of tranny problems its slipping a lot and not keeping the gear all the time it will fluctuate now and again. Im saving money now(not that thats helping cause im currently unemployed) it needs a lot of work...it even slips out of gear when i have to brake from high speeds sometimes which sucks cause when i go again i have no idea that it did this cause it feels like a down excrement and it slams into gear....still no money to get this fixed.

i guess u figured out u need a new transmission.

Listen about transmissions... You said that at 42 it should be at 1600? Unless my speedo is off a lil' or my tranny's in really good shape, at 42mph i read 1450rpm and at 45 i read 1550rpm... Anybody? Huh

thats right.

Well I just checked my mileage for the 1st time since getting the car last Saturday, I'm ptretty happy with it. 25.6 mpg mostly going to work and back. The fuel gauge lies though, showing less gas than what you actually have, it had me worried for a while.

that's 37.56

However, avengers and sebrings have a 15.9 gallon tank which equals 31.89 mpg.

 Huh

when the pump clicked off...it said i put in 13.5 gallons...I don't know about your math, but that's telling me that only 13.5 was used out of my 15.9....essentially I'm saying I had 2.4 gallons remaining when I filled up, ya dig?
