Well I got my hands on some headers so it's going to be headers, magnaflow cat, and custom exhaust w/ thrush resonators and either a magnaflow dual exhaust or flowmaster... Not sure which one yet though. I want that deep roar sound but not like a muscle car ya know?

Scratch the resonators. The tone and loudness of your exhaust depends alot on your pipe size... you would want to do 2.25" or 2.5".   The bigger you go the louder. Also different sounding. Every little thing makes a difference, like amount of bends, type of bends... etc..

Very true. I'm doing the 2.5 piping... Did you see the new Flowmaster 44? I may do that and let everyone know what it sounds like, if possible to do that...

All I know is, it's loud.. lol

I want noticeably loud but smooth... My best bet is 2.5" straight back from the cat to magnaflows.

And if you do it before me I will be jealous.  Cool ... but then I'll get to see what it sounds like.  Roll Eyes

I'll give u info up to how far i am
- First, you install the headers
-The DP, you cut as far down as possible after the flex section, separating the rear part of the dp from the front.
-For the rear part of the dp, you wanna cut as low as possible below the 02 sensor where the pipes meet.
This is just how u set it up to make them dual. from that point on, its all custom as to the type of pipes u use. I had a dp from scott, so i basically mated parts from that dp, onto the rear part of the dp on the headers. the part i mated was the flex section cuz u need to be able to move it around. make sure to have some clamps handy. you may need to weld the flex pipe section onto the rear section of the dp. you need to get a 2.5" x-pipe and 2.25" SS catalytic converters. (ebay- performance curve is the name of the seller). I'll take pics as soon as i get my hands on a camera an show u how I did that section. My pipes basically run (from headers- 2/x-pipe/y-pipes/4/2 mufflers).  I have 4 pipes cuz im sound tuning it.
