hey guys my dumb ass brother smashed my car in the front passenger side and need to replace the hood, rad support, bumper, lights and fender. Wanting to do an eclipse conversion for a while i thought might as well because i need the parts any ways.
So i went a head and got all the eclipse parts; Rad Support, Head lights, Hood, bumper and fenders but when i brought it to the shop the guy was like 1000 bucks to change the rad support! i was like wtf! is it really that hard to change the rad support??

To do the eclipse front end you have to cut the supports out, weld the new ones it, you have to cut the eclipse bumper in half and add an inch or two to make it wider, etc etc etc... its not an easy job.
I don't know if 1000 bucks sounds right but I would also be doing it myself.
Ah no Bumper mods needed ... the radiator supports are the 1 1/2" narrower...you need the eclipse hood, fender, bumper, headlights, you will need to do some fender tweeking to get it to line up well ...took us a weekend to get one swapped over ...
hey guys so sorry for late replay but i finaly got it! lol i didnt change the rad support with an eclipse one because i didnt find a good one so i just hammered the avenger one back about an inch or two.
i shot a video on my phone (sorry about the quality) i will take some high quality pics later.
yeah i had an eclipse front bumper on my bring for a while after i destroyed my custom made fiberglass front end. the only major prob i had was around the headlights, specifically on the inside. the bumper was urethane so i just bent the hell out of it but it did fit for the most part so you shouldnt have any probs with the conversion. good luck!!
