like i said i need one bad! it looks bad but it has nothing to back it up... i want a turbo but i dont have 3 grand that exile racing is asking for it.. anybody have any suggestions???

Contact Sroufe7... He sells downpipes and high flow cats that can fetch you between 10 to 15 hp... And that's at the wheels  |

Thats both put together, btw. The aftermarket folks have pretty much left us high and dry.
-Headers, if you can find them
-Underdrive pulley -
-Cold air intake
-Sroufe's exhaust parts
-final drive gears from the stratus - ya lose a little top end, but it improves acceleration.
-try and find some lighter aluminum alloy rims.
-If you live in a constantly cold climate, strip off the a/c
-do the 3.0LO swap
There are plenty of things you can do, but those will fetch the most benefit, outside of boost.

There was a 3.5L Venge completed once. It worked tot, but I cant remember who did it or where the engine came from.

sorry but the Turbo well actually all boost is going to be a hard find for you.....like ET said those are the best bets for movent a turbo will cost a ton and probably wont net you all that much power on the 2.5...3.0 well thats another story im sure. Hey if he could shove a 305 into the engine bay and only have to cut a small hole in the hood why wont the 3.5 work?? JUST ASKING no freaking out

That v8 project was also a complete drive-train swap. With the 3.5 and keeping the car FWD, it takes a lot of coaxing.
Boost will get you a double in hp without too much trouble, but the transmission is entirely likely to go to hell on you if you do that, or anything over 250 for that matter. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Get a transmission cool first thing and look into rebuild kits with better steels and better hard parts such as planetary gears. Once you get that done, you will have a lot more freedom with your ponies.
Don't be discouraged either, many people have run good setups with the A604.

Well the guy that's selling his 95 with the 3.0 and the turbo... I want it sooo bad. I told him i'd take it no questions asked and for more if he wanted it. I'd drive and get it of course.. Wouldn't be too hard to rebuild the stuff and mod it slightly.. btw, doesnt that one guy ummm reynolds, I think rebuild our transmissions with racing gears?

Roger Reynolds does a good rebuild on our transmission, I've heard.
Upgraded steels and solenoids, road rage gears, etc.
I'm sure he will be happy to work with you.

so are you saying a turbo kit for the 3.0 will work for my 2.5? just with a little mod it will fit? if so what sort of stuff would need moded?
