the dual clutch is interesting. it's also clear from that article that economy is the focus, performance wasn't mentioned much. be prepared.  Wink

ehh none of the things that they talked about should harm perfrmance much at all even the diesel engines will be pretty strong (wtf about a diesel Viper??!) what tehy need to do to better performance is stiffer chasis and better suspension Dodge and chryselr are not hurting in the power range, now they are just trying to make that mighty hemi a little nicer on the wallet for just general driving.

sounds like chrysler made a final attempt to gather itself from the depths..maybe making horrible concepts was just a stunt to prove they're the best in the world.. Smiley..when they recover.

The new Chargers?  The base has always been, what, 2XX hp?  The R/T was 345 horse I think.  I drove one and it was QUICK!  And the SRT 8 was 450.  That was just crazy fun to drive.  So what are the new power ratings?

The "new" base Charger is the 2.7L V6 - 190HP.

No official numbers on the revised 5.7L Hemi - yet.
