Question About O2 Sensors
« on: June 19, 2007, 03:15:38 AM »

Question... My car only gets about 14 to 15 miles per gallon. Could faulty O2 sensors have anything to do with it? What other factors could cause that poor of gas mileage???

You should possibly take them out & clean them with a brush, pick, or blast it with compressed air.  Be careful, you can damage them, and DON"T use any arosol cleaners or anything.   You can also do regular replacement of other sensors or components that relate to air/fuel mix.

Change filters, check tire pressure.

Don't drive it like you stole it.  Grin

Lol. Yeah it's been about 9 or 10 months since it's been tuned up. Hey another quick question... Are our radiators known to build up a lot of grime?
