so does anybody know why the 3.0 5 speed transmission wont fit does anyone know what is in the way of it working?

I would read up on the topic. I don't remember the specifics on why it won't work, but no one has successfully made the 5 speed work with the 97-00 Avenger/Sebring. (that I know of).

Just some friendly advice too...I would not post this same topic on ASEC. They will flame you!

yeah i figured, i always forget that asec is there actually, ive been reading about it and i dont think i want to get into it. id love it but it seems like too much for me to do right now. but the 3.5L swap is sounding very good
