Roaring Sound while driving
« on: December 27, 2005, 04:53:11 PM »

Shocked While driving normal roads I turned off my music and noticed a roaring sound louder than normal, it continued at all speeds, it continued when I put the vechicle into neutral so I assumed that it was not the motor or the transmission. Right or wrong assumption?? How about tries, alignment etc, or something else /  any ideas .  Thanks

Where does it seem to be coming from.  Does it get louder when you brake?  And just because it does it when your in neutral doesn't elminate the rest, because your motor still moves, and your drivetrain is still being spun because of your axles.

Mod List.  Um WAY too many to fit on here.  But the engine can handle about 800HP

There is no change in the sound when braking, in reading some of the other posts it could have been related to the cold transmission fluid as it was in the teens when I noticed the sound... I check during warmer weather. Thanks for your input...g

If it changes with speed I'd guess wheel bearing
