Old school performance on the 2.5 possible?
« on: June 04, 2007, 09:56:01 PM »

I was just curious if you can go old school with the 2.5? Im talking about holly carbs, Intake manifolds ect.

Just wondering.. and also what would be a good choice for a rwd tranny for the 2.5.. Keeping it dodge.

ANYTHING is possible with deep pockets and unlimited cash ...
You'll have to have a custom intake made to run the holley and have it flow tested to ensure even flow to all cylinders ... If you want something totally nuts get six single carbs each feeding a cylinder ...

I know of no RWD tranny that will bolt to the 2.5 ... go nuts and throw a v8 in and rwd ...

You would also need to remount the engine to convert to rwd.
