3.0L engines
« on: June 12, 2007, 02:05:09 AM »

hey everyone i had a question about the 3.0 engines that could be used in our avengers. ive read the writeups about the swap and it says you can use eclipse, galant, and one other one. but i was wondering about the early 90 to 95 chrysler lebaron engines they came with the mitsubishi motor with the overhead cam and they also came with a manual transmissiom. but the motor is what i was wondering about it would be nice to use the transmission too but i dont know if it will fit does anyone know??

The 3.0 we use comes from these cars.
2000+ Eclipse
2001+ Sebring
2001+ Stratus
1999+ Galant

the older 3.0's will not bolt up to our trannies .... and I know of no one who has tried a motor/tranny swap

Yes it may be an A604 valve body but It's a different case ... it won't line up ...but if you are so sure feel free to try and let us know how it turns out
