I am going to try and pick up the relays on thursday when i get paid.. I think i am going to price out a fuel pump too just incase so I know that it is new..
i could be driving on a street and it will die, i could pull to a stop light and it will die, i could be sitting at my house idling and it will die.... or i try to start it up and it wont start up.
(again, i have all power - lock, windows, radio, STARTER... but no fuel pump or spark (i think) )
lol took it to my mechanic, he looked at it and said it was fine - he said maybe crank sensor is bad so he changed it today, started the car it was fine. decided to take it for a test drive and.... lol.... literally it died right across the street from the shop. when i came by the other guy said my mechanic has been sitting across the street trying to figure out how to start my car for an hour. he called tow truck to get it across the street haha.
*sigh* he said it could be fuel pump.... but he is not sure exactly. i'll check with him tomorrow.
i had the same exact problem took it to mechanics and no one could figure it out.....til one day i was messin around and banged on the asd relay and it started....after that when it wouldnt start i would pop the hood bang on the relay and it would start until i got a new relay....i know that a relay off of a neon will work and they cost a whole lot less thats for sure....
Basically before i changed these relays, my 95 6cyl sebring jsut did nto start in the morning. It cranks but does not turn over. There is no spark. There is fuel cause i hear it turn on and sort of smell it in the engine bay area after a few attempts in starting the car.
I then buy these relays from napa, and for some reason, i dont hear my fuel pump prime anymore. Not sure if these relays are not as good as the dealers. I checked the power wires that run from the relays to the battery and they seem good. Just a reminder, the car was driving fine until one morning it just happened.
http://asog.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,30/topic,3085.0 gets you to the fuel pump check connector for power ... since you replaced parts blindly I have to start from square one to see what you have /what you don't have ... I'd normally guess the ASD relay (that you supposedly replaced) or the CPS...
