the car looks better as a whole i dont like the curent evos but this one is really really nice looking very aggresive and clean looking

I still prefer the old Evo body style, but this is nice too. It scares me that they mention Mitsu getting in bed with Hyundai...
Also not too keen on the death of the 4g63 for the MIVEC... but we will see.

more style.. it looks like chrysler decided to give it a makeover.. it lacks the look it was made for in my oppinion. A rally car should not look like a family sedan.

to let you know the evos and WRXs (which are my personal favorites anyways) are based loosley off the rally editions as in they are based on the ENGINES of the rally cars styling is different Mitsu and Subaru never really intended for these street cars to go offroading they are no set up for rally, they are inspired by it. this new Lancer looks more pissed off and more stylish than ANY family sedan( camry, taurus impala, galant, altima/maxima) i have ever seen actually in my OPINION it looks less a family car than the current one. as a mater of fact the only other family sedan i can think of that looks this aggressive is the Carger SRT8.
But like i said these cars were built for track and road use and therefore are not really supposed to mirror the rally editions or even act like them Rally just inspired these cars. but thats MY opinion and you are entitled to your own.

they arent rally machines. they were built on inspieration of the rally impreza and the rally lancer, people got really into it and subaru and mitsu built them, calling them the Impreza WRX, and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Subaru gave the WRX as a standard cheap bottom line starter car the public clamored for a more hot version like the evos were and STi was born. NO where in thier conception was rally meant for the PUBLIC released cars these were hopped up sedans meant to be contenders for the other performance sedans out there on the street the rally cars were simply inspiration thats it.
