Just In Case
If you have bought the cheap 4-1 header off ebay, let this pic be something to keep you inspecting.

Yes, that IS my O2 sensor you see INSIDE that pipe.

Because I am dirt poor and require my car for work, I am forced to JB weld the stupid thing back together.

If you find yourself having to remove your Exhaust Manifold [Header] for whatever reason, keep up with these 6 bolts

They are in proper order in the pic and on the proper line [top and bottom]

And buy a new gasket.

busted....hey shiano..i got an exhaust setup i would like u to try..but u know what..b4 it gets crazy..i wanna see what inputs are on this thing..ok its for single pipe exhaust only.

its similar to the resonator setup that u had received from mcgyver...but this is slightly different..after the Y-pipe, get two offcenter pipes...this way the flow goes offcenter..then comes back to where the original center lies (do this for one side) the other side should just have a regular straight pipe/resonator. then return it to a Y-collector then continue on towards ur other pipes. this should give u a nice sound...definitely not rice. its purely theoretical and based on sound, so it may not sound like a V8, but it will be a lot different...along with ur dynomax..it shouldnt sound bad at all. im going dual exhausts...so i wont be able to do it...(i dont have room for four pipes anywhere underneath that car). please, i would like some input.

well you'd have room for 4 pipes depending on how small they were  Tongue

ok. Header has been repaired!

WOOT!!

Go experienced welder [step-father]!!!!!

I'll know for sure within the next few days if it'll hold or not [should].

I would love to experiment. One small snaffu though: Benjamin Franklin hates me right now. lol. Once I get my test results in [they should be good], I'm going job hunting. Right now, I'm having to deliver for Pizza Hut. What's funny is that we have 8 pizza places here, and 6 deliver. Thankfully, the drivers of the past 4 years have destroyed the reputation that i created for on time deliveries so I don't get near as many deliveries as I used to back in the day. That means less wear and tear. That's the reason I chose to come back to Pizza Hut during my 'employment bridge'.

haha, yeah...there'd be a lot goin on under there though, i'd need 4 Y pipes instead of two...i'll work out the spacing and see if it'll fit..if it does...no doubt i'll do it..thing is...i really love the mellow sound of the v6, but it def. wont sound the same with this modification. u kno what..i will do it. thanks for making me reconsider matt, ill go ahead and draw up the system..if i can post it online i will. if i do it, it'll be done by this month anyway so it'll be around. wish me luck.
