well for 70,000grand he can make it a direct replica of the time machine www.deloreanmotorcenter.com....the car is sad with all that stuff(700 lbs more!!) it got to 60 in 14.1 seconds, and never made it to 88 mph wasnt enough road way to do so (check out july's car and driver to see they compare some of the more popular tv/movie cars) and it went from 70 mph to 0 in 439 feet starsky and hutchs tourino made it in half that lol

power:weight it poons us. it has 170 hp, i have 140, not sure about the 6cyls but, i think off the line it wins.

I'd say 168-170 hp with my intake.

well power:weight, it still wins.
mine has a k&n CAI and flowmaster 40 series exhaust so i dunno what it's got right now.

how old is your car? and your car?    now, the factory BRAND NEW power is ~140 and ~160 HP .... tear and wear =  take off like from 15 to 20HP easily

in year 1997 the 6cyl engine was raised to 163 hp 170 torque
mine is a 96

the delorean isnt as fast  as this car off the line at least. like ivan said think of power to the wheel the delorean out weighs us guys a little (3120 lbs for the LXi sebrings to 3420lbs for the delorean, this is curb weights for both vehicles) and this is a newer car, trannys work a tad better thats in a straight line in the corners it would more than likely kill us b/c of engine layout and its width it would just corner much better...disclaimer this is for the V6. power is only 7 lower, and torque is 10 lb-fl more we would give it a run.

If it's not as fast off the line as ours then its not faster then ours at all.. cuz our cars are gutless off the line... sorry to say. Undecided
