Drivers Door Lock Problems Please help
« on: May 28, 2007, 03:31:38 AM »

Ok, The car is finally running, problem is that my driver side door doesn't lock what so ever. The key won't turn to lock and hitting the powerlock button moves the little unlock/lock knob, but it doesn't turn fully to lock. Any help would be great  Cry

Sounds like something is jammed up.  You'll probably have to pull the door panel off to see whats up.  Check the visible stuff for obstructions and spray some WD-40 first.  Also spray in the keyhole, and try some wiggling of the key after the spray.

might have to peel your door panel off and make sure your linkage is not binding as well, make sure the plastic clips are secure on the linkage arms. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. WD-40 is your friend, good luck.
